Comment by Makoto Adachi
Aurorae Sinus
Glauco Uri,Raimondo Sedrani,
Michael Karrer

Mars is getting closer and feels pretty round. Looking at Clyde Foster's observations, the sunny days near Aurorae Sinus (53W,-10),
which had been sunny until now, have become dusty and are becoming harder to record black. This is also recorded by Glauco Uri,
Raimondo Sedrani and Michael Karrer. Closer to the rim,it is affected by fog. Also,if the pattern is blackened,it becomes difficult
to understand, but it is a clear tendency.
Fattinnanzi Cristian,Michael Karrer very well records the clouds in Mare Acidarium (20 ~ 45W,+ 40 ~ 55). Hiroaki Akutsu recorded
a faint linear bright band (pale) from Ausonia (W235 ~ 270,-55 ~ -20) to Electris (165W ~ 190,-40 ~ -53). This is visible to
the naked eye,but you can see from the stacked image that it is a little whitish.

I was up a bit too late to catch Mars at greatest elevation, and conditions were not that good.
Centred on the western extensions of Valles Marineris, with Solis Lacus upper right of centre.

Molti i dettagli interessanti, dall'ormai ridottissima calotta polare sud (in alto)
Acceptable atmospheric conditions and an ever-increasing height of the planet allowed me this good shot,
obtained by adding together the images obtained from 5 films of 4 minutes each. Many interesting details,
from the now very small south polar cap (top) evidently fragmented to the veils around to the whole part around the north cap (bottom).

I‘m a frequently reader/observer of your website.
It’s an excellent place for studying planetary images from all around the world. But until now I did not submit images.
This is the first one and I‘m not sure if this is the right way to submit. Enclosed please find my sharpest Mars until now.
Short moments of fair seeing between long unsharp periodes. Thanks to Emil Kraaikamp‘s excellent software Autostakkert“
the sharpest puzzle areas resulted in my best image until now.
In my opinion the one shot colour cameras of today can easily compete with RGB filter imaging.
1000 frames selected from 15.000. Imaging sequence 180 seconds.
