Today is a very special day, marked by the closer approach of the red planet to the Earth.
With a diameter of 22.6" at the equator,we will only have the opportunity to see it like this again (with that diameter at the equator) in 2035.
On the next 13th we will have its opposition to the Earth. Details very faint clouds (Very light blue ) can be seen in both the East and the West,
in addition to the North.

Despite the strong 160kt jetstream parked overhead conditions were better than i expected.
This view taken around 10hrs after closest to Earth for 2020 show the Elysium/Mare Cimmerium hemisphere.
Prominent NPH and limb clouds.
