木星はシーイングがよかったので、勇んで火星に向けたら、とんでもない
悪シーイングでがっくりだった。21時半ごろから、よくなってきて、何とか観測になった。

前日の気流はひどく撮影しませんでしたが、高度が高いこともあるのか、まずまずの気流でした。

晴れましたがシーイングは安定しませんでした。手持ちのOPTOLONG Venus-U フィルター（中心波長３５０ｎｍ付近）を使ってＵＶ域を撮ってみましたが、
Ｃ１１では少し無理がある気がしました。

13:49(CM=277)の画像で南極付近に盛り上がりがあるようだ。ターミネーター付近のコントラスト効果によるものかとも思うが、G,B画像でも見られる。
12:47(CM=262)、13:24(CM=275)のR画像でも見られる。BE410画像から低緯度付近に薄く雲が出ているようである。

昨日よりも気流が良く、高度が上がるにつれて更に良くなりました。
モニター画面でも、ＭＡＲＥ ＣＩＭＭＥＲＩＵＭから下がっている、しっぽのような模様がチラチラ見えました。
最後の画像は、同じ処理ですが、田坂さんが描いた斑点だらけのスケッチのようになりました。ここはＷａｖｌｅｔ処理でやめた方が良かったかもしれません。
５０分間隔で撮ったＢ画像では、赤道の夕霧はあまり変化が見られませんが、明け方の霧はこちらに回ってきているように思います。暗いのは小シルチスでしょうか。

The seeing was rather variable again with only a few brief steady spells,although the sky remained clear throughout.
SPC uniformly oval,NPH uniform,except for a very bright section on the PM limb.
Morning mist filling much of Solis Lacus,Evening mist in hellas looking bright.

Imaged Mars October 25th in very ordinary seeing,have only one 685nm IR data set.
Titanum Sinus and Gigantum Sinus are surpsingly well defined.
The Hellas impact basin is seen as is Syrtis Major and surrounds.

We continue our "special project" this apparition of creating annotated disk maps of Mars,
as opposed to the projection maps that are everywhere on the internet...and have now managed to capture the final aspect of Mars we needed to complete this series. :)
Here we see Syrtis Major almost centred on the C.M. with a wealth of detail across the vista,including inside the Hellas Basin.
Quite a lot of cloud cover on this face of Mars also,with one impressive "swathe" of cloud stretching from the Northern tip of Syrtis Major to S.
Meridiani on the limb,as well as clouds in several other regons.
Normally we present the images North up in capture orientation,but include here an image with South up in conventional orientation -
with Syrtis Major along with Hellas so prominent we thought it worth including... ;)

Hellas 付近に淡いダストが懸かっているようで、なお北半球の高緯度付近に白雲(?)が立ち篭めて北極冠と見間違えるような感じがします・・・・・？
