As I was busy with Jupiter this morning,I looked up to find that Saturn had appeared above the bushes to the east,
and with decent seeing,I had to give it a try,so this is my first set of Saturn images (IR,RGB and R) for the year.
The rings have closed significantly from before solar conjunction.
Limited detail is visible, but I was pleased to see the polar hexagon and vortex in the IR image.

Imaged Saturn Feb 26th in poor to fair seeing. Large scale banding within the atmosphere is resolved as is the North Polar Hexagon
but the seeing was not good enough to resolved small scale discrete detail. Of interest,
the apparent ring tilt relative to Earth peaked in 2019 at 25.2 degrees and now has reduced to 21.8 degrees.
In these data the South pole is now peaking out from under the rings.
