Spent a little bit of time with Saturn after the early Jupiter session yesterday evening. The polar hexagon and vortex can be detected in the IR.

in very ordinary seeing, have only 685nm IR data. The North polar vortex and vertices of the hexagon are surprising well resolved considering the conditions. Some of the concentric linear structure just inside the NPR is resolved and best seen in the IR animation. The animation reveals the long lived fast moving dark spot / bright spot combination which is preceded by another thin bright band.
