Another frustrating morning of very poor seeing. This too will pass….!
The activity following the GRS is continuing.

Although the GRS position in the image is not ideal for a map
computation,it suffices for a qualitative comparison. The recent
intense white spot on the GRS f-side has dissolved noticably.

It was a long night and it has taken a long time to process all of these images.
From the GRS transit, which I started to capture when Jupiter was at a height that usually brings me good result,
til the Oval BA starts to appear on the left (rising).
Note the bright spot on the top left corner of the GRS.
GRS itself shows some details inside it,specially in the 6 minutes de-rotated image and the IR ones.
A lot of details on SEBs rings. Two barges are really prominent on NEB.
A lot of details in higher latitudes with the IR742 filter on the last images of the session
(the seeing was better and the planet was very high,at the limit of my balcony for observation).

[Ioannis A. Bouhras : Peristeri,Athens,Greece]
Good seeing that night, very fine view at the eyepiece with Jupiter as high as 34° high,
I did not see that since 5 years (the color image might be my best since 4 years)!
The braun features all over the northern hemisphere are striking.
The two large white ovals in the North tropical Zone are delicate but visible (including one in methane).
What is even more interesting is of course the GRS zone,
GRS showing a distinct center and a small dfark spot insidce at 2 o'clock,
tits wake is opened North showing some red material escaping through the chimney (?).
Two very bright eruption are located preceding the wake, with some fainter continuing further West.
A lot of finer details is visible on the SEBs till the preceding limb, and in the austral polar area.rturbee.
Io far away seems to show a bit of detail as well.

Extremely poor weather conditions in southern Brazil,
in the last month 80% of the weather was overcast and on the few clean nights the jet stream was very strong.
That was the first reasonable image I got this season.
