Weather had been terrible here the last 2 days. In fact it was cloudy all day today up to early evening.
The sky started the clear at round 10pm so I took a chance to grab some some images.
Seeing was good. All these images were taken using a QHY462C camera.

Note the red oval close oto the south pole. One can see another small reddish oval on the southern tip of Jupiter!
The EZ shows the chaotic turbulence created by the GRS. The NEB is very pale.
Note the bright white oval on the NEBn setting on the right. It has a bright streak extending to the mid-NEB.
Note the IR/Methane bright feature on the EZ.

I was lucky enough to catch good seeing almost in corrispondence of the opposition.
These are likely my best results on Jupiter in this apparition.

The festoons in EZ look very dinamic here. I was lucky enough to catch a reddish spot at extremely high southern latitude (B"=-72°).

As I was set up on the ZWO ASI 462MC,I went straight into a CH4 run.
This was the best seeing by far that I have had when making a run on methane band since acquiring the ASI 462MC camera
and the resultant resolution achieved is commensurate.
There is quite a large scale wave pattern in,what I think is,the STrZ.
I made two RGB & IR runs following this and although the seeing fell away somewhat, the resolution achieved is not too bad.
In the first the GRS is right on the f limb and then the 2nd,and hour later,
it has rotated towards the CM and gives a nice view of the remnant of the recent outbreak in the STB.
Once again I arranged the captures, such that the RGB and IR captures have the same timestamp and then blink animated them.
It is interesting that the IR version is like an x-ray and reveals details obscured somewhat by the ochre coloured veil on the EZ. Likewise with the GRS.
Unfortunately the quality of the GIF animation is less than desirable.
