薄雲がかかり明るさは安定しませんでしたが何とか撮れました。

薄雲を通しての撮影で、シーイングもダメでした。

天気は良く、期待したが、途中で曇ってしまった。
最初のシーイングはひどいものだったが、あとの方は中程度のシーイングになって、そこそこ見えた。特別に目立ったものはなかった。

雲る直前に何とか撮影できましたが気流はよくありません。

We had clear skies on 10th February and the seeing was very good,typically around AI-II.
I was able to use a power of x600 to observe a few fine details on Mars,even though the apparent diameter was only 7.3".
There were a number of interesting things of note:
・No sign of the SPC even at x600,the whole of the SPR is just a vague brighter region and somewhat ill defined.
・Argyre I and II were fairly bright although there were no other distinguishing features in these basins.
・Solis Lacus was present on the following side of the disk- Phrixi Regio was again quite dark.
・Erythraeum also present and certainly not uniform in appearance.
・Acidalium and Nilokeras visible in the far south.
・NPC interesting- quite bright and large,thin greyish line inside?
・Brighter regions possible in Ophir and Tharsis.

Average seeing and a small disc mean not much to see in this sketch.

Here are my Mars images from five dates in February.
There have been quite a few opportunities for imaging the past month,
which is somewhat of a surprise, but seeing has been generally poor.〓
The NPH has been invariable present near the morning〓terminator when seeing has been adequate.
I am now catching〓up with processing and have a few more results to send from this period,
which will arrive as soon as possible.
