I had some reasonable conditions this morning for these R, IR and CH4 captures. Unfortunately there is an edge artefact most evident in the IR. We returned from our trip to Namibia yesterday afternoon, and I am busy trying to catch up on all the latest news as we had limited connectivity in some of the places we visited. A trip that may have some influence on my future imaging as we visited the Gamsberg region, home of the IAS Observatory and the HESS Gamma Ray Observatory. We shall see. I also visited the Cuno Hoffmeister Memorial Observatory just south of Windhoek and had discussions with staff of the Astronomy/Astrophysics Dept of the University of Namibia. A fruitful and informative trip, over and above the amazing beauty of the country.
