By the time the planet had reached the point where I could view it, dawn was already breaking and the sky was getting light.
Alas conditions were never any better than AIV with some shimmer on the disk,
but it was lovely to see the planet again! Notes from the observation:
EMore of the southern hemisphere is now visible, and for the first time in many years I was able to see the ShRG south of the ansae.
ENEB(s) the darkest feature on the disk, the NEBz quite broad and the NEB(n) was much weaker.
ENNTB seen and polar regions were somewhat vague and ill defined. A bluish tint was suspected here.
EBoth A-Ring and B-Ring seemed somewhat yellowish, C--Ring seen.
