Here are images from the past two nights showing bright dust cloud over Noachis-Argyre and a dusty veil over Mare Acidalium.
Conditions were once again inferior - on Oct 9,seeing was poor, and on Oct 10,the seeing was good but a strong and gusty wind which caused Mars to pinball around the frame - glad I got anything at all. But great to catch the dust, always interesting!

Attached are two drawings of Mars made yesterday and this morning in good seeing. Powers of x300 and x375 were employed and the following details were noted:
・A lot of dust still seems to be present in Noachis and Argyre.
・Hellas partially visible on the prec. limb also seemed to contain a lot of dust.
・There seemed to be a brilliant cloud on the foloing limb, slightly yellowish in colour probably situated over the Campi Phlegraei region.
・Sinus Sabeus well placed, still the Deucalions Regio is quite dark which makes it hard to distinguish from Pandorae Fretum.
・Erythraeum sems to contain more structure now- including a thin brighter region near the limb.
・Oxia Pal. and Margaritifer Sinus still retain the same basic form as in the last apparition. Acidalium can be seen emerging from the northern polar hood.
・Northern Polar Hood now quite extensive and bright- it appeared to be a bluish colour and details were seen in the NPH (see third drawing).
Closed down 0123UT. Bright fireball sighted at 0125UT heading north west, duration of about 3 seconds and rather bright at about Mv ~ -2 to -3. Trail left after which was recorded on our allsky camera.
