シーイングは非常に悪かった。画像から得られる情報量は極めて少ない。
Seeing was very poor. Very little information was available from the images.

Seeing was very good but I had to deal with passing clouds which was frustrating at times.
This region shows Mare Sirenum. Solis Lacus is setting on the lower right edge. Olympus Mons can be seen on the upper right. Elysium on the upper left just below the north polar hood.
Observation date is November 24.

Seeing was rather mediocre but with an apparent diameter of 17.1",there is a lot of detail visible on the disk. A number of interesting points could be observed on the Martian disk:
・The Southern Polar Region now seems to be very bright and white in colour- we have not yet passed the point of Ls= 0°,but perhaps this brightness does indicate the start of autumn in the south?
・The Mare Chronium could also be seen although somewhat vague.
・Electris and Eridania were visible- there seemed to be a thin band of white cloud passing over these features and on towards the following limb.
・Mare Cimmerium very dark and Sinus Gomer could be seen here. Hesperia was quite light and in the moments of better definition it was clear that the northern edge of Cimmerium was composed of a lot of irregular points rather than a uniform dark band.
・MAre Tyrrhenum was quite dark, and to the south Hadriacum was quite distinct. Hellas still not particularly bright- there may be some yellowish colour to the region.
・Syrtis Major becoming well placed by drawing 2,the feature contains a darker section along the middle. The region immediately west was rather light. There was a brightness to Libya suggesting the presence of clouds but I'm not certain of this.
・Trivium Charontis seen, but Elysium was not overly bright or prominent.
・The NPH was again very prominent, and there seemed to be some darker streaks immediately south of the feature.
By 2230UT,the definition became quite hopeless and the wind was starting to pick up- there was little more which could be done.

Many images today, but no top results possible at bad to sometimes nearly useless seeing.
Had some time for experiments though, f.e. making use of my 7"-Starfire refractor instead of C14 (only image 1).
Images from the Starfire were sharper and better under these bad seeing conditions.
