Hauled the scope out last night in hopes of a good run given the predictions
for above average seeing. Unfortunately,Mother Nature had other ideas and
the seeing was only average (5/10) amid cold,clear (8/10) skies. SSTB storm
A1 is approaching the CM,and that long-persisting rod in the SEB is on the
meridian. A strong blue festoon (hot spot) just past the CM in the southern
flank of the NEB,and then WSZ on its northern side a little farther along.
Possibly N5-AWO in NPR midway between CM and the limb.

The sky was mostly cloudy early this evening as the outer rain bands of LPA 91 has reached Cebu.
SEEing was a little unstable.
There is a small outbreaks on the NEB. Above this outbreak is a large white oval with a blue haze.
Note the large gray feature on the SEB.
