The first cloudless, crisp, morning in a over a week, but which unfortunately coincided with my first poor morning seeing conditions since recommissioning the observatory 2 weeks ago.
There were however a few brief moments where I was able to capture some acceptable data, and also a short period of reasonable IR,which I processed first. During processing the IR I was interested to note in Winjupos, using the moon alignment tool, that Enceladus was in transit across the SEB. Although conditions were nowhere good enough to detect it,the Winjupos tool, using a suitable mask size (I used 6 pixels),is really useful in identifying where the moon should be detected.

When I received the QHY5III678M camera,I wasn't really excited because the pixel size was very small! Anthony Wesley contacted me last weekend and told me that he was very impressed with the specs of this camera. He told me to try to capture using 2X2 binning. Here is the result. Seeing was excellent this morning despite Saturn being only 40deg above the horizon.
The details on Saturn is incredible considering it took only half my usual capture time. Note the low contrast spots visible! There is one in +38N past the CM and another in -30S before the CM.
It is just unfortunate that my camera was not sensitive to IR and UV. Probably a defect on my sensor.

I reprocessed the image I sent earlier with milder processing. I also enhanced the image to show Tethys and Dione.
