After the recent extend period of poor conditions,seeing was somewhat improved this morning,allowing this double R set,with an IR.

Transparency was very poor today because I had to image Saturn through clouds.
Note the dark spot at 32N. The southern hemisphere looks very active as it gets exposed to more sunlight. There is a large dark spot at 44S close to the left edge.

今シーズン初めて撮りました。眼視ではカシニ空隙が見えないくらいの気流でしたがIRでは撮れました。

My first Saturn upload for this vear. Evidently, with a 6" scope, level of detail is limited. A close look at the mono channels shows at least some more bands besides the big ones, but they're faint and don't really come out in the RGB composite.
Also, for my location it's still early for this years apparition.
Morning sky becomes bright before Saturn can reach its culmination. But conditions are often quite good here in these early summer mornings, and there's a free concert by all the awakening birds.
