t was nice to be back in the observatory after nearly a week of intense,and bitterly cold winds that produced some amazing dust tongues extending into the southern Atlantic from the Namibian coast.
Temperature in the observatory was still below zero (a bit warmer in the new control room!),and there was strong Jetstream overhead.

大気が不安定で，シーイングはよくなかった。Tethysの通過を確認することができた。
Atmospheric instability and seeing was not good. Satellite Tethys could be seen.
