I was up earlier this morning but had some problems with the camera connection to the pc,which delayed me for about an hour. Conditions were not bad,but were deteriorating as I moved onto the IR captures. In my opinion the RGB is a bit overprocessed, but I am busy relooking at my total processing methodology,so please bear with me!

I had decent seeing conditions a couple of days back for these RGB and IR 642nm BP captures of Saturn.
Dione was almost in transit, just grazing the southern limb of the planet and coincidentally,at the midpoint timestamp it was quite central. Mimas was also detected, having just transited, off the p limb.
There is a noticeable white oval in the NTeZ,just on the f side of the Central Meridian, that is visible in the colour image, but not in IR. The south polar region has more activity than the north and there seems to be a brown coloured turbulent layer in the green of the STeZ (I think).
