Good seeing condition. The transparency was average. Dione on the bottom left side can be seen. It's 3 days before opposition. The Rings are bright. The Seeliger effect has begun.

A session of over 1.5hrs early yesterday morning. Seeing conditions were variable and still far from ideal, although the Jetstream had reduced to moderate levels. 3 sets of R captures,an IR and RGB.

土星の衝が27日、土星本体がリングに落とす影が見えなくなりました。リングの明るさが少し明るくなってきたようです。

Here's a full set of RGB, IR & CH4 images from excellent seeing three days before opposition, with quite a few features to call out. In the red filter, there is some activity on the EZs at (L3 = 026°, -17°), the B-ring spoke shows up clearest in red (and also in RGB). I've included a GIF of the spoke rotation. In IR several spots show up, particularly in the southern hemisphere: again at (L3 = 026°, -17°), also (L3 = 081°, -30°), and a high latitude spot at (L3 = 029°, -54°) are clearest and rotate with the raw frames. A dark spot is in the northern hemisphere at L3 = 097°, +41°. Remarkably, a point of the polar hexagon is still visible in the IR polar map, though the north polar vortex is almost lost to Saturn's northern autumn.
The methane band image is maybe my clearest Saturn methane so far. Little discernible strong activity, though there's a faint spot or dark/light band on the north part of the EZ at L3 = 100°, +9°, a little west of an indistinct IR feature.
I've included wider RGB and methane shots with several of the moons including big cloudy Titan, which is (perhaps not surprisingly) unusually faint in the methane band compared to the other moons.
