The excellent seeing that I had for Jupiter was also manifest during these RGB and IR 642nm BP captures earlier in the evening. Saturn, however, takes me longer to process.
The resolution of detail is quite good in both images. Enceladus can be seen at lower right. Tethys was visible early in the capture sequence but quickly moved behind the planet. I include a Green capture from 11:35:30 UT,approximately a half hour before the main image 12:07:00 UT,where Tethys can be seen passing behind the limb of the planet at upper right.
There is a bright storm at the Central Meridian in the STrZ (?),which I think is the one mentioned by other observers and for some time. An amount of activity can also be seen in the Northern Hemisphere. Of particular note is a red coloured feature in the NNTeZ,which is also bright in the IR image.
The EZ has become even more visible south of the rings.
I subsequently made an animation of the IR 642nm BP captures. Here the rotation, left to right,of the eddies and festoons in the Southern Hemisphere can be seen,as well as the brighter system to the north, near the North Polar Region. Although we can't see all the detail clearly there is a general sense of rotation that the eye picks up across the planet.
It is also possible to see spokes/ taches in the B ring,on both sides of the planet, rotating in the same direction.

fair seeing conditions, showing 2 possible DS and some SEB activity (indicated by lines in the overprocessed version).

It was my first test of the QHY finepix camera at Saturn. Very promising to image without any barlow etc. in the prime focus of the Celestron 14.
