Given the strong Jetstream overhead and a 2-3m/s wind at the observatory, I had zero expectations this morning. I was, quite frankly, a bit shocked when I saw the conditions, and over and above the normal IR and R captures, ran a first attempt at an L(R)RGB, for the apparition. The G and particularly B’s were not as good, and I have taken the liberty of reducing the colour tinge on the rings for aesthetic purposes. The ring angle was exactly 4 degrees. But definitely looking more like the Saturn we know and love!
