Image set from this morning and I could not complain about the results given the strong Jetstream conditions. For the colour image,I have reverted to a “true” RGB rather than the L(R)RGB I have been using recently. The CH4 was poor,but I include the result for the record.

初土星です。薄雲越しでしたが気流は良好でした。この後の木星を目論んでいましたが、雲に阻まれました。

Seeing was perfect today. But transparency was very poor due to thin clouds. That is why I had to use the new version QHY5III585C with higher full well capacity. I am now getting used to using the Esatto focuser. It is so easy to get the right focus with this!
The +32N dark spot can be seen rising on the left. Note that the N and S bands are not symmetrical. There are more bands in the north than the south.

UV.Ch4（メタンバンド）.IR-850画像とRGBカラーです。カラー画像には中央南のリングの影とその南に細い筋が見えます。
リングの影と並行、弓なりの影はあの影はFリングで無くてAリングの影です。リングに近いところはBリング、その間の明るい帯体がカッシニの隙間と言うことになります。
