Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from earlier tonight using a 750nm longpass filter.
9 images spanning 18 minutes were combined in Winjupos.
Callisto can be seen above and to the right.

Kiyoto Mashima

Clyde Foster
The first cloudless evening in quite a while, allowing a view of Jupiter with the GRS in transit.
Conditions were well below average, and the RGB was particularly poor, but have included it for the record.

Hi all,
Please find attached an observation of Jupiter made on 8th April in good seeing conditions.
There were a number of interesting things on the disk:
   - S3TB and SSTB visible with a darker section in SSTB and white oval seen
   - STB seen but at its most prominent on the following side of the disk.
   - SEB broad- the SEBz seemes to be rather active with a very bright spot seen and many bright irregular patches.
   - EZ active with an EB and a number of bluish festoons seen.
   - NEB very active with a lot of complex detail here.
There were two large rifts in the southern region of the belt,
while the northern edfe of the best contains some white bays.
   - The NTropZ contains some yellowish colour and two brilliant white spots in the NEBn extend out into the NTropZ.
   - NTB(s) seen but it is not as dark or prominent as at other longitudes.
   - NNTB also observed.
