Of course a 4” refractor has its limitations but nevertheless observing Saturn is always a highlight in one's life as an amateur astronomer.

We had reasonable conditions here for a time on 22nd September and I made an observation of Saturn. Rhea was in transit during this time and in the moments of good seeing I was able to discern the satellite against the NEB. The shadow of Rhea would have been below Rhea but I was unable to see it.
The Globe:
・SPR: Dark and a bluish colour present. There may have been a SPB visible.
・SSTB - STB: Two thin belts with a warm tone. The zones in and around these regions had a greenish tint.
・SEB: A broad belt- the SEB(N) was dark and well defined, there is still no sign of the SEB(S) unless the belt much further south is the SEB(S)?
EZ: A light colour with a thin greyish belt visible in both the northern and southern equatorial zones.
・NEB: A broad belt with two components, the darkest and best defined being the NEB(S). Rhea can be seen along the southern edge of the belt.
・NTB: Not really any sign of it tonight.
・NNTB: A dark bluish band. Presumably the band to the north is the N3TB?
・NPR: A vague ill defined region/
The Rings: Now very narrow
・A-Ring: The outer third of the ring is still dark.
・Cassini Division: A vague greyish patch.
・B-Ring: A bright yellow colour devoid of any other details
・C-Ring: A vague glow at the ansae edges.
By 2237UT seeing and definition dropped off and observations were concluded for the night.
