Saturn from Rubyvale last night in poor seeing. The 807nm longpass filter was the best choice in the conditions and it shows some detail around the equatorial region and a compact bright storm in the south. Note the distorted shape of the rings as they pass in front of the globe caused by the large amount of image enhancement needed to bring out the details on the planet interacting with the curved ring shadow.
