Hi all, here's an image of Venus taken through a bandpass 1000-1020nm filter showing the thermal emission from the night side. Prominent features visible here include Aphrodite Terra on the right as well as several other smaller mountains in the north. As usual the southern terrain seems mostly hidden. Included is an animation comparison with a topo map.
