White clouds that hung on Mare Acidarium (30W,+50) became light though
covered the large range. Mare Acidarium (30W+50) is seen the white
clouds under. In the image of Martin Mobberley, the mountains cloud in
the vicinity of Tharsis (90W,+10) is firmly caught. (reported by 6
observers)

Mars under fair seeing conditions; the persistence and expansion of the northern polar
haze is evident, quite blue. Hellas seen obliquely appearing quite bright.

Martin Mobberley (245mm Newton: Lumenera LU 075M)
Seeing was quite good for once! CML = 150.

A lot of cloud detail is obvious, especially in the blue image, around
the Tharsis Volcanoes. Solis Lacus is still hidden beyond the terminator.

Orion Optics 245mm f/6.3 Newt + 5x Powermate projected to
~8x = f/50. 0.12 arcsecs/pixel (7.4 micron pixels).
Lumenera LU 075M + Red, Green & Blue filters.
Temp + 5 C. Not much dew.

Captured/converted with Streampix.
Processed with Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8.

My Mars observations for this morning. Seeing average, occasional fast, fine turbulence. Light dew. Video used for stacking was acquired and processed at 16-bits/pixel.

Very good seeing, 2005/10/03 05:58(UT)
Note the faint clouds on the sunset region near Tharsis- they were more prominent 1.5 hours previously.
