Been going through a patch of mixed weather and poor seeing. Things were a bit improved this morning though.

I had 2 imaging runs today. The first image was taken in exceptional seeing.
Unfortunately,clouds rolled in before I could take the IR and CH4 image so I had to stop.
One hour after,the sky cleared so I did another run. Seeing wasn't as good but had some decent images.
The first image shows the approximate target region of Juno for Perijove 5 on August 27.
The NEB is very chaotic in this region with multiple outburst! The SEB shows the effect of the mid-SEB outbreak.
It is nice to see the small white ovals close to the polar area.
These will be imaged by Juno. The south polar red spot can also be seen.
The second image shows the mid-SEB outbreak rising on the left.

Hi all,here's an image of Jupiter from this morning in overall poor
seeing. We have a tropical cyclone developing to our north-east which is
likely to bring lots of cloud and rain for the next week,so I was happy
to find some clear sky :-)

透明度は非常に良い状態でしたが、シーイングが良くなく、雲も絶え間なく流れ撮像を断念しようかと思いましたが、
2時間程様子を見ていたら日付が変わる頃になると、雲が少なくなり、シーイングも少しだけ回復してきました。
折角なので撮像してみました。
