Mars set from last night. Argyle is towards upper right with the expanse of M Erythraeum stretching across the southern hemisphere above centre. Oxia Palus is quite evident extending between Niliacus Lacus and Margaritifer Sinus. Across the centre,Meridiani Sinus is just left of the CM and Aurorae Sinus is right of centre.
Extensive cloud formations remains in the north.

Here is a mars report using the CC203mm cassegrain under poor to average images.
The disk color remains yellow light orange and may be on intensity enhancement.
Syrtis Major was well lowered by the thick atmosphere present at the limb.

The upper half of the tableau shows 3 RGB composites together with separate B channels. In the south-west (lower left quarter),up to 3 thin, long haze stripes can be distinguished. The p-limb appears hazy, too, but this decreases with rotation.
The bottom section shows the R,G,B channels for the middle recording at
02:13.4 UT. Note the two distinct features in the north. Below the blueish-white NPH at the northern rim there is a another bright feature with a different, more yellowish-white color. Could this be dust or mixed dust and haze?
In visual observation,Mars looked rather pale, with a bright greyish-orange hue. Compared to the visual impression, the digital images are rendered a bit darker and contrast enhanced for a better feature display on the screen.

A difficult session. The jetstream is still active. Accordingly, few frames (stack of 500) are usable for further processing.
