Conditions were perfect today.
My routine now starts with a mono capture then capture the methane band and a Luminance set with the color camera.
This will be part 1 of today's imaging run. If the sky continues to be clear,I will capture the GRS later.
This is the region preceding the GRS. The south polar red spot is very prominent in these images.
Note the long pale yellow cloud on the NEBn just past the CM. The SEB shows the turbulence from the GRS.
I had another run today to image the GRS and Oval BA. Seeing was very good with Jupiter at the zenith.
Seeing was so good that only light post processing was necessary.
I will be using the mono camera in the next few days because of the request by those involved with
the Juno spacecraft to capture very high resolution images of Jupiter.
After imaging with a color camera for the last few months,
it took time to get use to how high contrast the images from mono cameras are.
Contrast enhancement is not necessary anymore.
Oval BA has just passed the GRS. The center of Oval BA has formed a pale orange color.
The wake of the GRS is active with outbreaks. There is a very bright outbreak on the NEBs.
The NNTZ Little Red Spot (LRS) can also seen in these images.

After more than a week with hard wind and rain we have a small lapse in the
clouds. Of course, the seeing was bad, with the image was moving quickly
and with small displacements. The fine detail was completly lost

The wake of GRS is active with outbreaks. In NPR,many cyclones and FFR (Folded Filamentary Region) can be seen.
Interesting,we can map some counterpart of features between color and methane images.
