Seeing was poor but infrared detail was surprisingly good.

Conditions were good today. But I had to cut short my imaging run as rain was approaching.
These images were taken using the QHY5III678M camera.

The GRS is setting on these images. The wake of the GRS is very complex with very bright outbreaks.
The NEBs also shows some bright complex outbreak.

We had a clear night on 6th November and I was able to make three drawings of Jupiter. During the observations,
Io and its shadow were in transit. In the steady moments of seeing there was a lot of interesting details on display:
S3TB-SSTB: This region shows a lot of variablity- in drawing 1 the SSTB is complete and two ovals can be seen,
however there were gaps in the SSTB in drawing 2,and the whole area becomes very complex later at the time of drawing 3.
STB: This,I presume,is the belt just above the GRS.
It seems to stop at the GRS then continue along the following side until it starts to fade as in drawing 3. Presumably the belt prec. the GRS is the STropB?
STropZ: A bright zone, white in colour.
Great Red Spot seems to have a darker boundary of material which is attached to the SEB(s).
SEB: This was composed of three main segments,a dark SEB(s),
the SEB(z) which had different tones and intensities prec. the GRS and fol. it. A thin bluish-grey SEB(N).
The region just following the GRS was quite turbulent and three bright white spots were clearly seen, and well defined.
EZ: This was rather active and contained some yellowish colour along the equator.
A number of blue festoons could be seen here.
NEB: Fairly active- particularly by the time of drawing 3.
In the first two drawings,a number of darker sections and bright spots on/near the NEBs can be seen.
BY the time of drawing 3 there were a number of very striking rifts visible in the belt.
NTropZ: Another bright zone.
NTB: There was a faint, thin bluish band in the NTropZ which I took to be a remnant of the NTB.
NPR: This region contained a number of subtle greyish markings visible under good conditions. Evidence of a NNTB at some longitudes?
