Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from last night in below average seeing.
A 750nm longpass filter was used to clean up the image as much as possible
and 7 images spanning 9 minutes were combined in Winjupos.
The recent outbreak in the NTB is extremely bright in this filter, with the older outbreak visible to the left.

Some interesting details on Jupiter on this date:-in the North Temperate Belt (NTB) the disturbance is pretty active
with a contrasted wake, with dark material after the head, and further on,some reddish material is visible near the limb,
-the South Equatorial Belt disturbance
is also visible here, with a brighter region detectable in the CH4 image,
-there is a nice reddish spot (bright in CH4) in the South Polar Region,
-a more interesting reddish spot is visible in the NNTB,quite hard in the RGB image but easily in the CH4 image.
Extreme processing (insert image) shows a similar aspect to the GRS,but at a much smaller dimension.
I belive in Christopher Go images the spot is smaller,on earlier dates.
So,being bright in methane and growing in size, could lead to something interesting in its development.
