流れるうすい雲をとおしての撮影。無風であったがシーイングは悪かった。かなり大量に撮影し比較的ましな部分をセットにしたため、撮影間隔が不揃いになった。

シーイングは悪く、最初のRGBは薄雲の通過に邪魔されて何度も撮りなおしました。その後は晴れましたが、シーイングはさらに劣化していました。

少し晴れて、気流は良好。北極雲内部の亀裂が小さくなり、吹き出しの雲が無くなった。

Here is a report of Mars performed yesterday the 2nd january evening.
Excellent sky transparency at last with average to good images on best moments were met.
Brightening on Mars were the reasons for interest.
- The north cap showed bright condensation at its east and west sides. The green filter exhibited the brighter and more contrasted area (more than with the blue filter W80A). This would mean the presence of a mist above the cap. The W11 and W12, yellow-green didn't show more contrast but rather less.
- The south polar regio: brightenings were noted on Chalce at the terminator and Nereidum Fretum, the brightest, Argyre was also clear but less with the blue filter and without filter.
- The area noted 1 exhibited at the terminator a clear bright zone on Moab until Eden. The extension of the haze was the best with the green filter W56, the W11 and W12 showed less contrast and less extent. This is suggesting a mist. To see if this a ground mist (turning with the planet rotation) or atmospheric (staying at the terminator in spite of the planet rotation). No time for making this evaluation, being on flu.
- A white cloud on Cydonia-Dioscuria at the terminator was there, white without and with the blue filter, less visible from the green and yellow filters.
Apart from these atmospheric presences Mars exhibited by calm moments fine details. Chryse Xanthe didn't exhibit some brightnesses.
Hazes as the haze observed on the regio noted 1 is to be followed, a mist was there.

With good seeing, however I had to wait a long time before the sky was freed from continuous clouding due to strong humidity.
Highlighted is the Erythraeum sea at the bottom with the Solis Lacus and the entire Tharsis area, the Acidalium sea at the top and in the center the Nix Olympica, the largest and highest mountain in the entire solar system (25 km high and 600 km . in diameter).
