やっと晴れました。小接近の丸い火星です。夕暮れ側に薄い雲とオリンポス山に掛かる薄い雲、南極側にも霞があります。中央のエリシウム付近の雲は淡く、目立ちません。

I had fairly typically poor seeing for these captures of Mars on 14th January (UT).
The Amazonia Planitia is central with Elysium Mons on the f side of the meridian and Olympus Mons on the p side apparently covered in clouds. Sinus Gomer can be made out on the f limb towards the south. I think the dark region on the central meridian is the Propontis Complex.
[Niall MacNeill : Wattle Flat,NSW,Australia]
Images were average to good on short moments.
A quotation of brightenings is reported through the notes.
The clouds noted especially on the last 13th were not on a development as expected.
They are fading with respect to the brightness levels observed.
Nothing remarquable to highlight with regards to the means and conditions in use.
[Stanislas Maksymowicz Ecquevilly,France]
fair seeing only.
There is currently a constant south-deflected frontal activity over Mare Acidalium, resulting in a more clear atmosphere at the rear of the fronts (higher contrast of the ground)
